Billy Mustapha Bio












Instructor Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hiphop and ADAPT Jazz technique


Billy was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He is trained in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, and hip-hop. He previously taught at Dance Spectrum Inc, where he grew up as a dancer. He trained with hip-hop dance company, UniverseSoul Dance in Calgary. Billy has also taught at dance at school programs and conventions such as FRESH Dance Intensive. He is proud to have successfully completed all of the Adapt jazz examinations and the Al Gilbert Tap syllabus with highest honours. He is also proud to have been awarded Distinction in his ballet advanced two Vocational Exam. He is the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards including the Carol Neilson Memorial Scholarship, and the Definite Threat Award as well as the Ultimate Threat Award at Triple Threat Dance Convention. Dance has taken Billy to California, Vancouver, Toronto and Florida. He is proud to have danced at amazing places such as the Disneyland parade, the RAD Canadian Challenge and Movement Lifestyle. Billy recently danced at “One Power Of World Dance” culture celebration, and for Michael Bernard Fitzgerald’s “I Wanna Make It With You” concert. He also danced and contributed choreography for the Kids Cancer Care Foundation Gala “Quest For The Cure” performance.

Billy is excited to share his passion for dance with his students at ADC and we are excited to have him join our Faculty.
