As one of the most extensive Recreational dance programs in Abbotsford, we offer a variety of dance genres at an affordable price for all. Our award-winning children’s program, Twinkle Star Dance™, perfectly balances structure and fun. ADC is where Abbotsford’s best instructors can train a young dancer (from age 1!). Whether it is our children’s program, Adult Program, Recreational dance or Competitive dance in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Irish, Modern, Contemporary, Hip-Hop or Acrobatics program, all of our students have a wonderful time while learning how to dance like a professional.
We believe that our youngest dancers deserve the very best instructors. That is why instructors that teach the most advanced classes also teach the 2-6-year-old dancers. Starting on an excellent foundation is the proper way to introduce a dancer. Long-term goals are the focus at ADC. Our goal for the dancers is to provide an education in dance that will yield a well-rounded, balanced dancer capable of performing multiple dance styles. Equipping them with a well-rounded education is essential in gaining acceptance into university, a professional dance company or the Workforce.
At ADC, our prices are the most affordable in the Fraser Valley, encouraging our students to try multiple dance methods. But also allows students to try dancing without too much financial burden to the family. All Costumes costs are assisted yearly with Fundraising opportunities for each family member if they participate.

Ballet
Ballet is the use movement to express the music and to illuminate human emotion and endeavor. Today, ballet is multi-faceted. Classical forms, traditional stories and contemporary choreographic innovations intertwine to produce the character of modern ballet.
Tap Dance
Tap Dance is a style of dance in which a dancer wearing shoes fitted with heel and toe taps sounds out audible beats by rhythmically striking the floor or any other hard surface.
Acro Dance
Acro dance is a style that combines the techniques of classical dance with acrobatic movements. This form of dance is very athletic and has unique choreography to incorporate contortion and gymnastic-like elements into dance.
Lyrical/Contemporary
Contemporary dance is a style of interpretive dance that embraces innovation, blending techniques from various genres, including classical ballet, jazz, modern dance, and lyrical dance
Jazz Dance
Jazz dance is a performance dance and style that arose in the United States in the mid 20th century. Jazz dance may allude to vernacular jazz about to Broadway or dramatic jazz. The two types expand on African American vernacular styles of dance that arose with jazz music.
Hip Hop Dance
Hip hop dance is a range of street dance styles primarily performed to hip hop music or that have evolved as part of hip hop culture. It is influenced by a wide range of styles that were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States.
