Valeria is a new addition to the ADC staff but has been a part of the family since she started dancing at age four. She has years of training in Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Acro, Ballet, Musical theatre and Hip-hop. Valeria has completed all her Ballet Cecchetti exams to Grade 6 and also completed the RAD Intermediate Vocational Ballet Exam.
Valeria has experience instructing dancers ages 3 and up, and teaches both recreational and competitive departments.
Throughout her time dancing, Valeria has performed in Ballet Jorgen’s Sawn Lake and Coppélia. In her last year dancing, she consistently scored in the overalls with her solos and received multiple scholarships and an invitation to nationals at the View Canada. Valeria has a passion not only for teaching and choreographing but also for music and performance, skills she aims to pass on to her students. From a young age, Valeria fell in love with the style of tap and since age nine competed in her tap solo’s across the lower mainland. In recent years Valeria has been at the top of her age group consistently bringing home awards for her tap solos, her goal is to share her passion for Tap Dance with as many people as possible.
